I have lymphedema in my left arm and han and in the last 7 months have had 4 infections that required iv antibiotics. must be something that can be done about thisother then the usually wait til it flares up then go to hospital.would appreciate any input

What information have you been given by your clinic? You may need prophylactic antibiotics (long term, daily).

What is your general health like? Do you eat good stuff - high carb is known to deplete the gut of good bacteria?

I saw in a booklet we should have a supply of flucoxicillin to treat infections. I had some once but never got them replaced. I have had @ 3 infections having iv antibiotics, but not recently. I banged and scratched my arm the other day and thought I would be back hozzie again but just kept cleaning it and kept my compression sleeve on for longer....
