Yes I have abdominal and groin lymphedema and down to my toes both legs. Can be very uncomfortable the main thing is to try to keep the area soft you can help by doing manual lymph drainage. Are you attending a lymphedema clinic. If you would like to talk on the phone let me know. Best of luck.

Hi, I have lymphoedema in the thighs and groin. I swell up along the creases between the thigh and groin and I can feel hard lumps when I apply pressure which is the left over lymph nodes getting too full but I do think every one is different and it can manifest in different ways. When I have a flare up it kind of balloons still along the crease and spreads up towards my hips. It's an awkward place to have lymphoedema but there are things that can be done. I was referred to my local lymphoedema clinic and have been taught specific massages to move the fluid away from the groin area and have spongy ball that the nurse gave me that I place in the groin and do leg exercises which flattens the lymph nodes out to allow lymph fluid to flow. I've also just been measured up for specialist compression underwear which I'm expecting in the next week or so which I'm hoping will help.
