If you have no reaction to the initial trial, then you should have no adverse reactions to this product in future. Be aware that there are some 'similar' products available that would require testing if you wanted to try them.

Have you been shown how to apply KT?

There is a kinesiotape for sensitive skin although I, for some reason, was sensitive to just such a one. Where are you going to use it, or which part of the body? I could only apply it on my breast but not on my arm by myself.

At my last clinic appointment, the physiotherapy who also gave me a session of MLD applied Kinesiology tape to my feet when I commented about how swollen my toes were. I did not believe it would make any difference, but to my surprise, it has made a big difference to the swelling, not only of my toes, but also my feet. I have been using it for the past couple of months, changing approximately weekly when it gets 'tatty' and starts no longer to stick. I saw how she had applied it, and have tried to do it the same way, and it seems to work.

All the best with you own experiements!

The manufacturers do place a lot of importance on how the tape is applied. Hope you have been able to find out how this should be done for you, perhaps by a helper as it isn't always easy to apply to yourself. Good luck!
