Has a severe asthmatic if my albuterol inhaler and nebulizer is not working after 20 Puffs and 10 vials I go to the ER. Sometimes I don't even make it up to that and end up calling an ambulance. Seriously call 911 before you start panicking.

I'm kind of worried about this. That's a lot of dilating medication. Are you on a daily maintenance that includes anti inflammatory medication like steroid, preferably inhaled?
If you recently had a bad time and hospitalization, I am so sorry, you have my sympathy.
Hi, Hizrozes,
It must be really frightening when neither your rescue inhaler or your nebs help.
Has your asthma specialist (your allergist or pulmonologist) gone over an Asthma Action Plan with you for your situation? Usually so much albuterol in a fairly short period can cause a lot of other problems.
Aren’t you on any other preventive and treatment medications? Singulair? Symbicort? Flovent? Flonase? Others? If your doctor doesn’t have you on them, why not? If you don’t know - ask, and then immediately start a new regime, or find yourself another doctor.
If you are supposed to be taking them, but are not for some reason, you need to discuss that with your doctor. Perhaps a different one will be better tolerated by you.
Hizrozes, please don’t put off seeing your doctor about this. And let us know what happens and how you are doing.
Debbie
