Health anxiety at its peak

Hello to all I hope you all are doing well. I am just 22years and my health anxiety is killing me from past 6months. first of all I had a fever which goes away by its own but after that after googling my symptoms and all ,consulted more than 15 doctors done with all kind of blood reports all are normal done with complete body cat scans normal i think of cancer and heart disease all the time no family history of any fatal diseases self diagnosed with all kind of imaginary cancer in my mind from head to toe and this cycle keeps on coming and recently after CT scan I got cough and fever which last for few days and my new imaginary cancer is of lungs just because I took CT scan and it uses radiation which had done damage to my body.. then again I did x-ray which came back normal blood test AFB test all came back normal I am fed up of this hypochondriac Condition of mine pleasee helpppppppppp meeeeeeeeeee...........

Hi there saraswat6150, my 23 year old son has suffered from health anxiety and also general anxiety and has had mild panic attacks at work, he had worries about his heart and was put on a 24 hour heart monitor which proved that his heart was normal. He went to the doctor explaining about his anxiety and was prescribed SSRI's, this appears to have worked for him, I'm not saying that this is the ideal answer as these type of drugs can have unwanted side effects and require a long taper in order to stop taking them. I recommend seeing your GP and he/she can point you in the right direction for help. Good luck to you and hope you overcome this.
