Yes ! Definitely. And you can message me if you have any other poop questions. I've been through thinking I had colon cancer or intestinal cancer so I'm here . I was always looking at my poop . Not even joking. Unfortunately I've moved on to other things.

I agree I do too. Even though I eat more plant based foods than anything else I'm always concerned

Hello Betha

JoMarie5 says this quite a common thing to happen and as you have been checked over I would try not to worry and maybe stop checking as well as this really makes us more anxious

It has happened to me and a couple of explanations can be we are not chewing are food enough to help it digest which is very common when we have anxiety as well as some foods can be harder to break down and digest to

I hope you will feel reassured that you have been checked over and others can relate to your problem so you know it is not as un common as you think

Thank you to you both! My enzymes were checked amylase and lipase and they are within the normal range. So I know that I also had a Ct scan with contrast. I know I need to stop looking it is just hard sometimes.

I still weigh myself daily

having food in your poop is very normal. particularly if it is the kind of food that is hard on the digestive system such as fruit and veg (particularly root veg). it would be more unusual to see food that is easy on the digestive system such as sugary cereal. but you if all the tests are negative you should be fine to relax.

Yeah it is mostly vegetable but I still have stomach problems it is affecting me way to much it scares me

I understand completely. I have gone through this . I promise I have .

Anxiety and stress hormones shut down the digestion process in ways. Especially long term stress and anxiety.

Oh no mine is dark brown but not tarry! But I am still framing out. My GI doctor is like you are ok but he did not check anything just my Ct scan which had contrast and my stomach he felt around. I don't know what to do. I am so afraid
