Hello Rabbithole720 :-)

The way you are feeling now sounds like you are really struggling to cope with and with work and kids you have a lot going on but without trying the medication how do you know it would make you feel like a zombie , it might just help you to cope and feel a little more able to deal with things , if you don't try them you will never know and possibly just keep struggling the way you are

Starting on just half the dose sounds like a good plan to me and maybe what I would do , then as you are getting used to that you could go on the full dose :-)

The one thing you have to remember well three really , these medications can take a few months to work , sometimes you have to feel a little worse before you feel better and and it is an and if you really found you did not get on with them you could always stop taking them :-)

So with all that in mind it is a win , win situation to give them a go :-)

Could you speak to your bosses at work , let them know you are struggling and going on medication for a while to help , if you could that would be great as a good Company and Boss would want to support you :-)

Have you friends and family you could ask for support from , if you had again I am sure they would help where they could :-)

There is a saying

There is nothing to fear than fear itself

That means fear is a emotion , nothing more , but if we do let fear take over then that is what we need to be afraid of , let that fear know you will not let it do that to you , easier said than done I know when you feel that way but give it your best , you can do this and you can always come on here and talk

Take it a day at a time :-)

Take Care x

Hey Rabbithole!

I first started my anxiety journey like this- constant panic attacks, depression etc. I also, was terrified of feeling worse with any medication, so I never took any. The best things that have helped me were: Yoga and running, Lavender oil and meditation. I still have flare ups, but it has calmed the storm , and panic attacks are at a very minimum. Good luck with whatever you choose!!
