I have really bad chest pains like all the time that move around my chest some parts of the day they will be in center. Then spread all over. Feels like crushing or pressure. GP seems too think anxiety. I have had in the past ECG,EKG, chest xray. I also suffer with scoliosis. Gp doesnt think thats relevant. I wake up every morning with chest pain and sometimes in the night. No sweating or shortness of breath really?
One of my lower ribs is a lot more englarged than the ones on the other side. I do take Lansoprazole daily. And i do smoke but these symptoms are driving.me crazy.. anyone else??

If we are anxious we can tense the muscles any where in our bodies including the chest which can cause pain , I have had pain to in the past
I can understand why this would make you feel anxious and the more anxious we feel the more we get the symptoms
Seems like you have been checked out and got the all clear which is a positive , trying to trust your Doctor can be hard when we are worrying but they have your medical history and you sat there in front of them and they would have to answer to some one if they messed up which I am sure they would not want as their career would be over so try and trust them
Do you try doing some relaxation this can help ease the muscles and the pain we feel could be worth a go
If it really gets to much for you to bear then go back and tell them ask them if they do not feel it is your heart then what is causing it ?
Hope it sorts itself out as I know worrying over your health is not a nice place to be , it is draining
Never forget that you can always get a second opinion if there is doubt in your mind. I live in Canada where healthcare is free and I can walk into an ER and get testing done on the spot and a fresh perspective from a different doctor in a couple of hours. If you are able to do that I'd say go for it and don't feel embarrassed. At least getting a second opinion will put you at greater ease and then you can let go of your need to monitor and react to the chest pains. And I wouldn't mention your GPs assessment...you don't want to give the doctor an easy out (I work in healthcare and unfortunately I see this more often than you'd think). Good luck! 😊
