Hello
That is a good description of how anxiety and depression makes us feel
However you may feel from one day to another , one hour even to another if it is how you feel then that is ok , there are no rules how we should be feeling no matter what situation we are in , these feelings will come and go sometimes when we least expect them
I think what we can do that makes them worse is over think , by over thinking we are making these feelings important and because we are then we fear them more if we accept them and say , well fine if this is how I feel then so be it , then this tells us we are accepting the way we feel and so you will not fear
Be kind to yourself and I hope your mood lifts soon
You nailed it. That’s exactly how both feel together. It’s hell. They are total opposite feelings that don’t go well together. That’s why medication and therapy is good. Medication balances them out. And talking to people like on this site. It’s good to relate and not feel so alone. We’re definitely all here for you hugs 🤗
I also dont want to be sad because whenever im sad i dont feel like talking and now i do want to talk. I had just spent my life like loner and i dont want my life like that anymore
I don’t suffer with depression as well so I can’t completely relate. But just anxiety alone is really so horrible and I’m so Sorry you are feeling as you are.
My anxiety changes from day to day , I suffer with some social anxiety as well as general anxiety disorder and some level of health anxiety. Mine can become a lot harder when stress levels are higher and also just because it decides too sometimes. Unfortunately the more we worry and fear it the more the cycle continues.
It’s not easy and to just speak to people who understand can help so much. I also find self help therapy’s and counselling can help a huge amount.
I hope that you start to feel better soon x
I can't add anymore than the previous comment as they've nailed it too. Finding out what's causing it I would suggest talking to a therapist.
You could try to catch your thoughts... to see if they have anything to do with the feelings. Often times I will be thinking something but not aware of it really and I’ll catch it to come to realize it was starting to immediately make me feel sad and afraid. Sometimes I catch a positive memory or idea and I feel warm and happy. Other times it seems we have these feelings for a reason we can’t explain and I think that’s okay too.
