Why does anxiety makes you think and believe about worst case scenarios?
My worst case scenario, I will end up with a severe depression, get suicidal and ends up in a mental hospital with no cure for me
I hate the fact that anxiety let my mind believes that and makes me more anxious

Hello
I answered your post yesterday about the butterflies and knot feeling did you see the reply ? was it any help ?
The reason anxiety thrives on the worse scenarios is so it can keep control of us without that it would loose control
You have to start and try and reverse the way you think
When the thoughts come in your head you have to try and cast them back out and start believing that it is not the truth , they are thoughts created by your anxiety and not reality
I know it is not easy changing the pattern of our thinking but it is one of those things that we have to do and only we can do it even though with support it makes it easier but the hard work has to come from us
It's funny how our anxiety races to the worst case scenario, have you ever tried flipping it around to the best case scenario? Like to the same extreme? I have done that before and it actually became comical, what would your very best scenario be, to the extreme?
