Can you explain the app? What does it do and what are the benefits and the length of time you need to have (if you have to do anything) to begin the process? Also is that the correct name? Couch to 5k?
Hi the app helps people who haven’t run before to get started. When I started using the app I was a total beginner but I was told by my doctor to try running to help with my anxiety. You start off alternating between a 1 min run and a min and a half walking with a warm up and cool down period before and afterwards, the times get longer each day. I find the app beneficial because you get reminder to run every day, and you get encouragement when running which is great for me. And yes the app is called couch to 5K. Xx
Welcome Jazzyrg. I am too old to run - even for a bus - but I do swim several times a week and find that helps.
