Does anyone know any foods tht make anxiety worse? I will be okay for days and then have acute anxiety for a few days and I'm wondering if it's from what I am eating.

I am not sure if any foods make my anxiety worse but I know to much caffeine in drinks can make mine worse

I suffer with headaches so chocolate or processed foods if I have to much can bring those on

It can be a good idea to keep a food diary & if you are feeling anxious list what you have eaten & over time you may see a pattern that certain foods may be contributing to how you feel x

Not aware of any, but food is a very personal thing. More than likely your anxiety is causing you to question your food rather than the food being a real concern. Medical advice should confirm this for you.

Food has a massive impact on me and the anxiety I experience. I take probiotics now every day and also take magnesium at night . That really helps with my anxiety . Start a day with warm glass of water with lemon that will help to alkaline you body which also has a massive impact on anxiety . I noticed processed food and sugary things make it worst but I think for everyone could be different. Maybe you have allergies to some food which can make your anxiety worst . Keep a food diary , eat healthy , exercise , take vitamins and meditate . If you do all of that you are not the way to recoevery . I would also advise to try therapy it has 90 % success rate.

Thank you. I recently started drinking lemon water and magnesium. I'm hoping that and the combination of my meds will help. Things have been better. I'm sure just like everyone else, I just have off days.
