Can anyone help

I have a ct scan tomorrow and I was already hella stressed about it. I had to drink the readi cat 2 berry drink tonight. Well I drank half of it and threw up all of it. Does anyone know if that is going to affect me not getting my ct scan tomorrow? I am really nervous about this ugh. Im freaking out bad.

Hello I've had a few CT scan nows and they are not bad at all they take only a few minutes, they are just basically like a rotating X-ray (you don't move btw haha) I have a ton of metal attached to my spine and I was perfectly fine, just try not to panic as it will over before you know it. I was scared for my first but it was actually ok, way way way better than an MRI as its not claustrophobic .

Horse mad i agree with you about the ct scan ive had several and prefer them to mri scans any day as the mri as you say is claustraphobic ! David

Ur right there love,it's on my notes never to send me for MRI ,it's awfull,but ct scans are a piece of cake

Try holding your breath and drink it at the end smelling it is what causes you to throw it up I know it taste bad but try ur best I remember the nurse saying that at least drink half the cocktail. Nothing scary about ct I think drinking the thing took longer

Hi I have had CT and MRI lately and what helped me was closing my eyes the whole

Time and listening to music. I didn't think about it then at all, so I got on great.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it went great ty all for ur support. I kept my eyes closed the whole time lol. That helped.
