Bun envy

I bought my boss a Belgian bun on my way in because he's fed up (and slim) and I'm a model employee. Now I want one and my tummy won't stop rumbling. Green tea just not cutting it this morning 😭

Get yourself some cream coffee, cheese or a jar of peanut butter and a spoon!

For a minute there I thought the title was something to do with Slim_for_Good and Hugh Jarse :)

Honestly, as long as you don't make a habit of a daily bun, and you're fat-adapted, I don't really see the harm in a one-off. It would actually be an interesting experiment to see how your appetite reacts. But if you're only a few weeks in, the peanut butter suggestion (above) might be a better idea. Just don't choose a "low fat" one!

What are trying to say about me and Hugh?

I’ve just had onion soup from the work canteen as a supposedly low carb option but I am sure it had added sugar. What a waste. I could have had a Belgian bun....

Avoid the high protein ones too, not for health reasons but because they taste like dust.

In any case, Hugh Jarse is less a feature in my life now, I’m spending more time with Hugh J’Thie these days.

It’s fair to say that my weight loss from that whole ‘problem’ area has been uneven, even lumpy. Why???

Because it’s your body and it can!

I’ve seen posts on another site (BSD) where this has happened. It evens out in the end - so to speak ☺️. Apparently the fat cells fill with water when the fat has gone and then, when your body thinks the time is right it let’s go of that and you deflate a bit. Also to paraphrase someone (but I don’t know who) you then need fast legs to catch up with the fast bladder. 😂 you may well!

Ha. I am sure you’re right. There’s obviously a metabolic hormone & conscious brain disconnect going on - I need to get them together for a collaboration workshop...

I find a long drink of lukewarm water eases the tummy rumbles and if possible a brisk walk - not always possible at work though. In future though, put yourself first! Let your boss buy his own cream bun! Love Subtle_badger 's solution
