Hi all, I was diagnosed with ITP in March 2021 with a count of 3, however it began October 2020. Until then I was just normal and quite fit and active, around that time I caught a virus and just never seemed to get better I was exhausted and developed digestive issues (trapped gas) it was soo very uncomfortable. Until recently it has been a hell ride everything that could go wrong did I developed reactions to medications and no matter what I did nothing helped. If I ate very healthfully it seemed my platelets would plummet. I have had prednisone, IVIG (a lot) finally Rituximab nothing seemed to help and Ritux was deemed a failure. Also a few nasty Dexmethsone pulses.
Fast forward I got Covid recovered ok then got very sick again soo short of breath almost passing out. In desperation I started searching for anything I could not understand why I felt soo sick then I stumbled across Dr Goldner who cured herself of Lupus. All I have done is try to do the green smoothies and drink the water about 3 litres a day (had to wrk up to that) and over the last 4 weeks all digestive issues are gone, my energy came back slowly at first but now feel strong and ready to tackle exercise again. I am not advertising for anyone however this was a life changer for me and would like to pass on hope. Before this I was absolutely hopeless.
Once again am not advertising or endorsing anyone or anything but maybe it is worth trying.
Prayers and best luck to you all.

Love hearing stories like this! Thank you for sharing and giving hope to the treatment resistant like myself. Glad to hear you're sitting at 152 right now.
I too got some sort of virus before all this craziness started, but no one's ever been able to figure it out. I also have had this pinging in my GI tract, sudden sharp bubbling that comes and goes and again no one's been able to figure out what it is.
Wondering if your assent was gradual or if it just hit all of the sudden? Are you on any other medications right now?
Raise in platelets seemed to be gradual over 2 months I think. Am not on any other treatment however had Rituximab in late January and hemotologist wondered if I was a late responder. I hope you get some relief soon too 🙏 The Very dense green smoothies and high water intake have been the answer for GI issues and low energy.
That's interesting. I've been on a ketogenic diet for the last 4 weeks and have seen my energy explode, even being in single digit counts. I feel normal in a way I haven't since I came down with this in Nov '20.
Can you give me the TL;DR summary - are you only drinking very dense green smoothies, or are they part of a meal plan?
I just started a clinical trial drug here in the US on Monday (Efgartigimod injections), so really hopeful it kicks in and gets my numbers up.
now I eat normally but still have a smoothie in the morning kale’ blueberries, kefir and water also have a little apple cider vinegar or lemon in my water daily this is only because I had horrible digestive issues when I got ITP seems to keep things ok
If you search Dr Goldner “goodbye lupus” you will find all of the info. Green smoothie is 75% leafy green veges (packed) in the blender, 25% fruit of choice 1/4 cup flaxseed or chia seed and water. I have not done the protocol strictly sometimes having a vegan meal at lunch and still having coffee. Daily I make the smoothie and water a non negotiable. Anything else I eat is dairy free, gluten free, animal free and egg free.
I read on Facebook that liquid chlorophyll helps. I’ve ordered Trace Minerals Concentrated liquid chlorophyll from iherb in USA. It’s got the best manufacturing and no bad additives. I hope it works.
Hi there, my ITP came after taking one of the COVID vaccines back in Mar 2021 I've tried a few medications, Rituximab didn't do it you me at all I went backwards. However I've been on Prednisone for months now that has stopped but also take Fostamatinib tablets which along with a weekly injection of Romiplostim my levels are back to normal. Slowly lowering each of these medications one at a time so hopefully I might actually see the light at the end of the tunnel and be okay once more. Good luck with whatever you try
