My son is about 1yr,8months suffering with ITP past 13months. I wish to know does anybody tried Ayurvedic Treatment for this problem. Kindly let me know, I wish to try if has given any good results

Dear AKReddy 1981,

i have been fighting the ITP for the last 12 moths. To my experience nothing really is a sure short solution, and should not generalize. I have been taking taking treatment from Columbia Asia - Yeshwantpur, Bangalore from Dr. Sathish K.

I have tried an Ayurvedic treatment from Jodhpur, Rajasthan and it worked for a period of 3 months, where the count increased from 14k to 50k, but it again dropped to 8k in april 2013. my doctor has suggested revolade as a possible cure, and currently on the same.

I have read some where that homeopathy may succeed. Dr.Sankaran's clinic in Mumbai is a possible place where some good treatment could be available.

Ayurveda and Yoga are very effective adjuncts to allopathy treatment. While one must start allopathy with a reputed hematologist, I urge you to consider yoga and ayurveda from reputed centres like Isha Yoga Centre Coimbatore India ( for yoga) and Vaidhyamadham Kerala ( for Ayurveda) along with allopathy. Since risk of bleeding is high one must continue allopathy medicines. Yoga and Ayurveda will definitely improve immunity and detox the system and slowly over time the allopathy medicines requirement could reduce

It needs to be done at reputed authentic centres like Vaidhyamadham in Kerala. Along with allopathy, yoga and ayurveda are definitely very very useful adjuncts since they work at internal cellular level and detox the whole body
