Natural ways to boost estrogen

Hi all, new here, hope no one minds my joining.

I'd rather not get into my whole back story, but I've not menstrated in ages and Dr's have yet to figure out why. I was told that if my menses didn't return by March that the gyny would try hormone tablets to encourage ovulation. I'm wondering if there is a natural way to boost estrogen before I see the dr. I'd ideally prefer to avoid tablets but I'm willing to try anything at this stage, so to speak. I'm on a careful managed, low calorie but high nutrient diet, take folic acid and vit D tablets (from dr). Anything else I can try?
