Hi all. This is my first ever message/comment on HealthUnlocked - total beginner here! Unfortunately I'm not at all new to the loss, grief & utter devastation of pregnancies with deeply sad outcomes.
After 2 years of trying to have a baby, we turned to medical help. We've came across a couple of surrogate/IP finder sites...I was cautious because I was not sure how successful they are - do people really find each other on these sites? Are all of the profiles of potential surrogate mothers authentic, or do they use dummy ones just to reel in hopeful parents?
A friend who became a parent through surrogacy suggested we try with a clinic as they are more trustworthy. She had used the services of BioTexCom in Ukraine. I found that the agency was quite straightforward, and professional. It was by far one of the best decisions in my life. I became pregnant and now I am a proud mother of a beautiful angel! The whole journey was an extremely satisfying one.
The reason I am here is so that I could be of help to a few ladies out there who don't know where to begin! Any questions will be answered to the best of my ability. Feel free to ask any doubts you may have.
Thank you. Good luck to everyone out there

Now I very active looking for surrogacy clinic. I read that BioTex`s situated in Ukraine. But it is like third-world country... In what way there can be modern surrogacy clinic?
They have not yet entered the European Union properly. It seems there was a scuffle a year ago.
Do they include an accommodation?
And I also want to ask on your mind what level of professionalism they have there?
On some forums, posts look like unreal. And I try to find actual information about this. Because their services are very attractive.
That`s why I have a lot of doubts about this clinic. By the way, it has so many enjoy feedbacks from happy women from all countries..
I had similar concerns when I first heard it from a friend of mine. I was apprehensive about the quality and the fact that there was some war in that part of the world. So I did a lot of research myself. Obviously, the clinic said that they are good and have quite a few women from all over the world. But you know you can't full trust just one source. I read about them in similar forums and the net, spoke to a few doctors and other friends.
Yes, Ukraine is a third-world country. We were initially worried about stay. But the clinic took care of everything, it was included in the package. They had also assigned a translator for us to help us. That was the biggest advantage.
The scuffle was I think in the north of the country, Kiev did not have any issues, we did not face any! The main reason we chose here was the cost factor and it worked out cheaper than in UK.
All said and done, I think you should continue your research. Talk to a few others who have been there. Do not base your decision on just the forums. I did the same, I spoke to a few doctors here too. In fact a couple of doctors first suggested we look for surrogacy abroad as it is cheaper.
I hope I was able to answer your questions. Good luck!
I'm very interested in more opinions about this clinic. What are the chances of having own child? My friend came back from this clinic with a daughter. She is so happy! On her advice, I also want to try surrogacy. After all, my husband and I can't get pregnant for a long time. But what for one person is good, another person may not like. How many people, so many thoughts. Tell me more about what you did not like there. Were there any shortcomings? My friend told me that everything is calm in Kiev and there isn't even a hint of fights. Is it so? When you say that this is a third world country, I imagine an African desert or Indian barracks. Is high-quality medicine possible in such conditions? I will be grateful for any additional information. I'm so worried. And at the same time I'm glad that I had a chance to find my happiness.
