was the dent caused by surgery, accident? A relative of mine had brain surgery which remained partially visible for the rest of her life.

I still have my dent 2 1/2 years on.

I had a subarachnoid haemorrhage. My dent is a result from where they put the external ventricular drain in. It's not very big, maybe 3cmx1cm but I can feel it every time I have a shower in the morning!

My husband still has a dent in his head 11 years later. It's covered by his hair, and not really noticeable unless you're looking at it, but its there.
