Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone has ever been invited to an icu tea party. I am due to attend one this afternoon at Guys hospital and wanted ti know if anyone knows whst this is for other than the obvious. No idea if it's always been done or if it's a new thing being tried out.

I've had a couple of coffee mornings with a local ICUsteps group, also attended a coffee morning held by the critical care outreach team at my local hospital. The hospital hold a meeting for ex patients about every 3 months

Coffee (or tea!) and biscuits. No specific agenda as such, but an opportunity to talk with others who have been through similar experiences. Also an opportunity to chat with healthcare professional some of whom may have looked after you? It is also an opportunity for them to see you too.

Not what you're looking for?
