My husband was in a induced coma (sepsis pneumonia organ failure etc) for 5 weeks in icu for 8 weeks 6months later I’m pleased to say he’s going back to work tomorrow (bus driver) so please never give up hope because they said he wouldn’t make it good luck and good health to all of you
Where there’s life there’s hope: My husband was in... - ICUsteps
Where there’s life there’s hope
Amazing news! Gives me alot of hope for myself! ❤
Wonderful news. Huge achievement but he must remember to not push himself too hard to start off with.
Thank you yes he’s only doing 3 days a week to start with see how he goes
I am so happy for you and your husband. He has made a great recovery and we are thankful for our wonderful NHS.
Absolutely they were marvellous from the cleaners to the consultants not only saved my husbands life they also took care of me and my family at such a terrifying time and how they can be on such low wages is beyond me
Yes I agree totally. There was a young Muslim lady who cleaned the acute ICU ward every evening. I took in a thank you card for her as well as nurses and Drs. I wanted to recognise that everyone as a team makes an important contribution to the NHS care given. I am happy for you and your husband and wider family.
Thank you for ur good thoughts I'm rounding the corner myself one more surgery to go and I'll be back to work myself never give up faith and always stay in the fight
That’s great news what a blessing! Stay positive and remind him on occasion not to push himself too hard
That's what wonderful news! May i ask how old your husband is?
