hello....my dad is 68 and in ICU in an induced coma for the last 11 days because of pneumonia, he had man flu we joked, went to bed for the weekend feeling dreadful next minute my mum tells me he is in a high dependency ward with a face mask? then the nightmare began he was moved to ICU and in an induced coma on a kidney dialysis machine and our world imploded, we have had 11 days of no change, and prepare for the strong possibility he will not make it, I hold his hand, I tell him I love him, I feel so useless, my poor mum is lost, on a positive note the staff have been amazing, a true credit to the NHS....help how long does this nightmare continue? if I hear no change one more time I will scream?
