Did a blood thinner (not aspirin) help with your shortness of breath?

No is the easy answer. I take Warfarin now following blood clots, but still suffer from shortness of breathe. I am fine just pottering around, or walking on the flat, but as soon as I go up a slight incline I begin to struggle to catch my breathe - makes me feel about 90 !

How is your red blood count? Could you be anemic?

The only issue with my blood count is thrombocypthenia (sp) AKA low platelets. In US anything below 170 is low. Mine move all around such as 68 to 122 to 90 to 215. Which I believe is a symptom of APS as well. thanks for your replies.

No not heart related my heart is great...ekg... blood tests regarding heart.... ultra sound of heart.. all great. But I do get chest pain on left side of chest, left of breast and a little higher.

O2 sats are always good, never could since 1997, build endurance up with high contact sport

I'm on both arixtra and aspirin and still short of breathe. Like you holt monitor, echocardiogram show nothing. Doctor says due to deconditioning but it isnt getting any better with activity. I also get chest pains on left side - feels like in breast or to the left or under. Thinking of getting second cardiac opinion.
