I was wondering who else finds heat therapy works. This does not just help aches and pains I often find that a steaming hot bath sort of wakes me out of my fatigue and brain fog albeit temporarily. I use hot water bottles all the time at work and at home. Also when the weather is hot I feel so much better.

Heat Therapy
I like my heat pad when i am achy but having a hot bath makes me feel ill.
I also have HOT baths, & hot water bottles lve generally feel it does help with jointpains? I think antway....but we are all different!
Hot bath fine for me as long as I am not feeling too bad, but sauna in the garden out of the question.... however I am not sure which of my multi conditions likes it the least, hard to tell - hmmmm PAH etc Mary F x
I take a nice hot shower every morning and it seems to temporarily decrease the effects of my joint pain and overall aching skin and muscles. I use a lot of what I call Pain Rituals to control my pain. In addition to heat, which I use "Woobies" to provide, when I am ready to try to settle for the day, I use color, (purple), things that feels very soft to my skin, scent, and an intricate "ritual" of making things perfect before I lay down. I am sure it's completely in my head, but when I do these things, I need to fight pain less. Each element of my "ritual" seems to help me block one more layer of the aching. So... am I nutty or does anyone else have little secret things they do that seem to help?
Woobies are satin packs of different herbs and rice (?) that I spritz with water and heat up in the microwave. They're about 12" by 6". They are nicely aeromatic... maybe part of the "help" is the actual scent that I associate with feeling better? Sometimes I will warm 2 of them and keep rotating which painful part I lay them on.
