Hi, I was dx with essential tremor mostly in my hands was told the medication was beta blockers but as i have very bad balance problems was advised not to have them. I think it also runs in our family as an aunty and my brother has it severe also my mum has just started with it. x

Thank you. Nurologist thinks it is my meds but i have tried adjusting them to no avail. I also have migraines 3 or 4 times a week and not sure if these are linked.

Hi - yes I get it too. it was horrendous when I was on warfarin, much reduced now I'm on Heparin. That could be because the warfarin was at the 'beginning' of the worsening of my condition, and I was just so very ill then. Both the Heparin and time have got me used to living with APS. When I get the tremours now, they are much gentler, but often accompanied by feelings of physical fatigue - achy muscles in arms and legs and back....as if I have run miles carrying the weekly shopping!!! The fact that I have reduced mobility and don't hardly leave the house and do all my shopping on-line doesn't help explain it at all!! Very weird...

Hi. I regularly get tremors which usually occur when I'm really tired and on occasions when I'm really hungry and had to wait longer for food for whatever reason. Are yours there all the time? Or, have you noticed they come in a pattern eg, when your tired, hungry etc?!!

Thanks both of you. I seem to be exhausted all the time and have need housebound for 8 months

they seem tp have no pattern some days so bad i don't attempt to make a hot drink

after several burns but other days they can be quite mild. When they are bad i find it really distressing

Hi, I also get the tremors/shakes. It can be when I am tired, or hungry or just for no reason. Sometimes I also sweat profusely, even if it is cold !! So there does not seem to be any real pattern or reason for mine. Whether it is due to my Hughes, or growing list of other ailments, I do not know either.
