I have blury vision, sometimes its perfect other times I struggle to read from the tv screen. It feels blury round the edges and makes me feel a bit sick. Its very frustrating! Eye tests say my eyes are fine! Any suggestions?

Thanks, I didn't realise it went on twice. I will see about a referal. Its strange as sometimes they are fine, I wondered if it could be something to do with poor blood flow or maybe it is some kind on migrain? I'm seeing dr k in april so maybe he might have an insight into this? X

I have this transient blurry vision problem. The eye doctor suggested it can happen when you retain water (more or less fluid in the lens) The day i went to see her my vision was fine (figures) she examined me & found nothing wrong except very dry eyes, my oil glands aren't working properly. She suggested taking a lot of omega 3's & using a hot egg a few times a week. Lol never heard of such a thing but if you want her instructions ill send I to you. I didn't find it very helpful yet but will keep at it. I find my vision is worse in the evening. As for the spots I see??? Who knows lol

Afternoon,

I find my vision can really vary, it can be very blurry and then a few days later fine. I also suffer from floating black areas.

haven't got an explanation for it though i'm afraid.

Good luck with your app.

HI,

I have visual disturbances. I get double vision, blobs obscuring my field of vision, and streaking bright lights. I was told that it was probably clots that were passing through my optic nerves. I was told by both the ophthalmologist and by rheumatologist that to absolutely confirm this, they would have to have me sitting in the chair when an incident occurred to examine what was going on, otherwise it's almost impossible to see. Although the symptoms have been reduced considerably since I have been warfarinised, and particularly when my INR levels are stable.

Regards.

Hi there,

Yes I am convinced it is micro clots due to APS. They disappeared after I started Warfarin.

Take care!
