Noisy in my ears and feel heavy
Hi flower 18: Google Riboflavin B2. Then go to the sources listed such as Medline Plus Medical Encyclopedia and Wikipedia. There are just too many things this little vitamin can do for me to list. Also, if you read the facts yourself it is better for your retention than second hand. Just in case you can't Google for some reason, I will list pathways of these sources. You have a lot of company with noise in the ears of all kinds.
Good luck and I hope this helps you.

Essentially, one can have a vitamin deficiency of Riboflavin or Vitamin B2. Research it and see if it could account for your symptoms then DISCUSS IT WITH YOUR DOCTOR before you arbitrarily decide to treat yourself regardless of the manufacturer's suggested dose. Just ask him if it is medically logical that it could be this particular vitamin deficiency and what he/she thinks of a trial for you to see if it relieves the symptoms. This should be able to be done via telephone. There is much more to read than the pathways I listed above. One will lead you to the next. I treat it like a little treasure hunt. A little treasure of information here and a little treasure of information there. You never know where. Remember, don't believe everything you read on the net. Check with your GP or ENT.
Warm wishes,

Hi, with Hughes Syndrome/APS at times some people do have tinnitus, however, I would ask if you actually have a diagnosis of Hughes Syndrome/APS as if not, I am sure there are forums specifically for Tinnitus. MaryF
Is it like buzzing, and whining noise, have you had a cold.?
Have you tried over the counter ear drops? My tinnitus gets worse when my house's heat comes on in winter as a result of lower in house humidity. Pour, or drop, a bit of the drops, or hydrogen peroxide into the ear, then turn the head so that the opposite ear drops toward the shoulder below, then rotate the head. I will hear all this crackling in that ear as the peroxide breaks up the dried wax. Hold for a couple of minutes, then flip your head so that the peroxide drains out ( don't expect much as the peroxide will have thickened.)
I have found this doctor-recommended trick has helped me tremendously -- though my tinnitus has persisted since I was a small child. It doesn't bother me as I have become used to it.
Has your doctor ordered a lumbar puncture? Try looking up descriptions of intracranial hypertension and see if it sounds like the noise you are hearing. A neurologist would be the route for that. Also, pay attention to your eyes. Are you having any visual symptoms? Blurring, doubling, pins of white light? Orthostatic changes in vision?
