Hello everyone,

I'm sorry I haven't been posting recently, life has just got a bit manic

recently.

My husband and I have started trying for baby number 2 this month. On Sunday night (day 25 of cycle) i had a sudden bleed. I assumed I was just coming on as my preiods have been all over the place recently, so put a tampax in and went to bed. In the morning I removed it and saw what I though was a very early pregnancy sac, compared to larger ones i've seen with previous M/C and it defo didn't look like a clot. Anyway, I put another tampax in, told the hubby and went off to work. At luch i went to change again and noticed I'd stopped bleeding which got my mind running.. I ignored it, put it down to my warfarin/inr and carried on until Tuesday night when the same again happened. Started bleeding, pluged it but it had stopped by morning.

I decided thismorning to do a test which came back as a faint positive (day 29 of cycle and i usually come around day 31). My question is this.... If I had passed something on Monday morning would my hormones still be showing me as pregnant and therefore the test I did this morning void?!?!?

I obviously need to know if I am pregnant from the APS point of view so I can come off my warfarin and swap onto clexane asap

Any help that can be given would be great!

Hugs Kate

I think a pregnancy still shows for a while after a miscarriage, hope all is ok though, I would switch to heparin to be safe and treat it as a pregnancy til your sure x

I agree, takes a while for hormones to settle after miscarriage, so treat it like you could be. x

i am more worried that I haven't actually had a M/C as i have stopped bleeding. The other 4 I have had once I started bleeding that was it for a week... I've requested a call back from my GP tomorrow as I can get an appintment for over a week (typical!) as I dont want to still be preg and not know and therefore not move on to clexane Thanks anyways ladies! :-D I knew I'd get some replies on here xxxx

Why don't you do another pregnancy test- if you are pregnant the line should be stronger now as your HCG level would have increased since Monday.

Good Luck- fingers crossed for you x

Oh yes sorry, read too quickly. Hcg levels double every 48hrs so you could even check tonight if you can't wait. I used to test every morn until the positive line came up before the control line! Also the cheap superdrug ones are very sensitive so don't spend a fortune on first response or clearblue! Hope its positive for you x

I have just got off the phone to my GP and he has recommended that I re-test on Tuesday as I will still be in the warfarin safe zone (should i actually be pregnant). Strangely I have had my INR results from my test yesterday back this morning and my INR has dropped... I wonder if that has anything to do with a possible pregnancy?!?!? Thanks again peeps xxx
