I have had bumps on bruises. APsnotFab is right - it is a hematoma. I believe there is no reason to be concerned unless the bump does not go away. I would keep an eye on it.

When you are on anticoagulants it happens many time's you get bruises, it's quite normal. They shouldn't be getting to big and there shouldn't be too many. Another possible explanation is that your platelets are to low, this can happen with Hughes. If you really worry about your bruises etc, you should ask you gp.

I've been saying for years now that I bruise just by gentle touch - believe it is common with taking low-dose aspirin for many years now. Am not yet on anti-coagulants, but believe that would contribute as well. And low platelets.... .Talk to your GP - blood test can illuminate what's happening.....

Hi there,

I too get bruises and in fact right now I have a few of them on my legs. I take asprin daily but I an not on warfin. I don't know the cause of this but I am guessing that it has to do with asprin or maybe low platlets. Hope this helps.

Take Care,

Catherine
