I just received several posts that the latest research from Cleveland Clinic and Thrombosis Journal suggests artificial sweeteners ie Stevia causes blot clots. I still remember being advised no to Equal and yes to Stevia. But, I guess, the old adage of all things in moderation?
There are online rec’s as to how much is too much .
As well as Paleo and Keto cautions. Gluten Free was a game changer for me . But I still am busy with the rest.
Be well!

That's very interesting. I had a terrible episode of gut issues after consuming various drinks with sweetners, my friend had provided them during some very hot weather. I had to delay my return home. Been very wary of them since.
I can only find recent articles saying that Erythritol is linked to increased risk of blood clots and Stevia is mentioned because Erythritol is used as to bulk it out in products. I might be wrong, but I did look because I try to avoid all sweeteners except Stevia in some drinks
I keep my consumption of sugars down to very little, following a low G.I. diet, gluten free etc, I also avoid artificial sweeteners they are bad for gut microbiome and I believe also can be neuro toxic, a well meaning friend bought me a bar of dark chocolate, and it contained Stevia, upset my stomach for a week, never touching it again.
