Reactions Allergic to Vaccines

Hi

I read recently that there have been reactions to the vaccine. I ended up with one of my

infamous bloody noses for a year. The next 2 were not much better and although the Gov

has lifted the mandate for now I do work with medically fragile students and was thinking

maybe I should change what I do to a not quite so compromised population?

Was wondering if anyone had experienced the same? The bloody noses were infamous since

childhood but totally awful.

Are you talking about vaccines in general or the Covid vaccines?

I had very little in the way of reactions to Pfizer and Moderna but the recent Sonofi knocked me for six for a week!

Hi, I had a dire reaction, but knew I would as I have a mast cell disorder. I do know many people with autoimmune diseases who did not react. I think it is a conversation to have with your consultant, as I have quite a mix of diseases which I am sure is why I react including to all antibiotics. MaryF

Thanks to an suggestion on this site, I tracked down my bizarre reactions to this or that vaccine, AND this or that topicals to an allergy to polyethalene glycol, aka, PEG. PEG is in Moderna and Phizer but not the J&J. mUnfortunately J&J is not approved in the US for recent boosters. My theory: ( theory only -no data) ... so maybe I should emend that to ... I wonder... if many reactions to covid shots were due to PEG allergies?

I seem to feel ill for weeks after a vaccine especially the flu. I just couldn't chance having it this year as last year I felt so ill after. It might have been a coincidence but I not so sure
