I have had pains in my legs I think muscular could be joint or bones mainly in my left leg, previously Dvt rt leg during pregnancy, it has been putting me off walking even standing up straight is painful
Just wondered if anyone else has anything like this, I am going to discuss it with doctor tomorrow, but from previous experience thought it might help to get some answers off here too
Thanks

Good idea to have an appointment with your GP. From my own personal experience, my legs and arms used to hurt a great deal with my mix of autoimmune diseases and I found treating my Thyroid, Vit D and B12 problems removed quite a bit of it, so maybe worth getting levels checked of things, perhaps the GP can do some tests? i too suffer with leg discomfort and weakness. Standing is uncomfortable and I can't stand for long periods. Been on warfarin since 2009 following dvt. Frustrating.
I too experience leg pain, even though I have never had a clot in my legs.
The APS specialist I saw here in Canada mumbled something in passing that the leg pain was probably due to muscle degeneration due to one of the many co-morbid illnesses related to people with APS. Then said specialist declined to take me on as a patient saying that I already knew more about my illness than I needed to! That was when I quit looking for help. And my GP refuses to educate himself. I think my GP is hoping he will be retired before my next medical crisis.
I had to fight for daughter for a good 25 years because of her being on the Autism spectrum and having a mental illness. So I can relate to giving up. I’m tired of fighting for proper medical care.
I remember you said that some time ago. ( NAUI certification here and PADI for my husband. Seizures stopped all that for me. But I always also really enjoy being unencumbered with just snorkelling. ( I feared going under just enough to get salt water in the tube- I’m goofy like that!)
I was never certified for diving, but 9 years ago I was snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. I was in heaven! I was so lucky to be able to do that. Days later I felt like a cannibal when dinning on fresh calamari.
My friends and I had a bet on meeting a shark while there. Because of my bizarre past experiences they assumed I would run into a shark. When I returned to Canada I collected $120 from my friends, because a SHARK ran into me! It was a nurse shark trying to escape a giant tortoise. It accidentally hit me in the side, and spun me around in the water when I was coming out of a coral bed. Lol. Too funny.
I am so sorry to hear how appallingly you are being treated and your poor daughter is suffering too ❤️ Life can be such an uphill struggle what is it with these medical professionals?? Stay strong stay educated that’s no doubt how you are keeping alive and safe! X.
I am still having a lot of pain spoke to the nurse at the surgery, she has given me a prescription for more codeine, I am even more sleepy now, I am still waiting to hear about my X-rays but I think if I don’t exercise they won’t do anything, my husband is really good and does everything in the house don’t know what I would do without him, I was wondering if I was just lazy, but I never used to be like this
Thanks Mary I am taking vit D 3 and I have at last found my blood results my b12 is good I do take iron and folic acid because I am low in both of those
My TSH level thyroid was 1.96 ( should be 0.27–4.2)
My serum T4 level was 11.9 ( normal 12.0-22.0) just under I haven’t been given any treatment for it
