Laboratory results in the UK

I recently installed the NHS App on my IPAD and when doing so used a system of signing in called PUSH DR. I do not know if others are aware but this gives you access to your laboratory results whether they are taken at your GP surgery or in hospital setting. I now get emails whenever the results are available and they seem to go back as far as December 2021 and it provides trends which are useful. I noticed that over a four month period my Egfr results were on a downward trend which were highlighted and I was able discuss with my specialist and when I was recently in hospital I asked the registrar to repeat my INR bloods before my discharge he said no it would delay my discharge and explained I would get the results at home he would no believe me so they were not taken. But then four days after I left hospital I got an email telling me my MRSA swab results were available. It’s certainly having this information available as you can also print the information off if you have concerns and wish to discuss them with your Dr’s.

kind regards

I have a similar app for my hospital/doctors/labs that I can see all these things as well. I did find out after being in hospital overnight for a TIA, that everything appears in real time. I was able to see so much information! I compare this app/info: reading a great book, reading more detail (the app), then seeing the movie adaptation with less details (conversations with doctors). If anybody is able to have access to such apps, this is a must do!!

Thanks for explaining about this! For a while, I have wanted to get hold of my hospital blood test results, but have no way of doing it. I will ask my GP practice about whether this version of the NHS app is available in my area. (I have the NHS app, but it only shows information about my GP blood tests and appointments, nothing hospital related.) I think PUSH DR is a private company that is working in partnership with some GP practices?
