It would depend on many things- which your neurologist wold need to advise you on.

It’s important that your neurologist consult with your APS specialist.

If inflammation is causing the chorea, a quick course of steroids might be initially used, but biologics might be considered for long term management. Sometimes low dose methotrexate in conjunction can be useful.

It’s important that your neurologist works along side your APS specialist ( and hematologist) to fing the right treatment for your particular presentation and comorbidities .

Sorry I have no answer with regards to your question. Just wondering if you know what triggers your chorea? I think I may have this but not a lot of info out there with peoples personal experiences. Do you get all the twitching etc. Thanks

I had a touch of chorea in that right before I’d fall asleep I would literally do a sit up in bed faster than I could ever do myself. Or my legs would kick out; both involuntary. When I went from blood thinning pills to blood thinner shots it totally went away.
