Post thrombotic syndrome

Hello guys,

Has anyone here been authorized for surgery on PTS? Any improvements on symptoms?

I have been experiencing mild swelling, cramps and typical side effects of this condition after a DVT on 2018.

I ready you.

Thanks!

Sorry. I do not recall reading on this site about a post thrombotic syndrome, though I know many of us have learned to make adjustments to ( in my case) post DVTs with compression stockings and night foot elevation, Where are your cramps located?

Thanks Gina for your answer,It is also known as Post phlebitic syndrome. The most uncomfortable feeling is the heaviness sensation after standing too long.

My DVT was located at the upper calf (right leg).

I wear compression stockings as well, but as I am moving to Miami, Florida it will be more challenging to keep them on daily.

Thanks for your reply

I will keep on riding bike and Eliptical at home. Definitely the best way to boost blood flow

Thank you again for your advice!
