Hello after few night’s discomfort and not being able to sleep with a lump on left testicle got appointment with doctor he took a look and I was put straight to local A and E dept

They looked and did blood tests all came back fine only trace of blood in wee , they came to conclusion that it was a cyst and me being on clopidogrel so sent home to wait for ultrasound scan had that today and yes was a cyst but she found traces of calcium on both testicles and will need a follow up years time and I’ve been referred as a outpatient. But was wondering is a calcium build up part of APS syndrome, I’ve also had three frozen shoulders last 4 years

Sorry you’ve been suffering but a huge relief for you to know it’s nothing more serious. Did they mention removing the cyst or if it’s because of a possible build up of calcium perhaps it’ll disappear over time?I’m on Clopidogrel and so far, so good - no lumps or cysts anywhere. I don’t know anything about calcium/APS so I can’t advise in any way.

Wishing you well.

Alas! I don't have testicles (enough problems with having 'lady bits') but good that you're having it sorted.

Hiya, glad they found it and knew what to do. Your GP/Consultant may need to think about looking into 'Parathyroid' issues. Unusual calcium deposits can occur. The parathyroid regulates calcium levels in the body. mayoclinic.org/diseases-con.... MaryF

Very good advice Mary . I had high calcium related to Hyperparathyroid disease and needed parathyroid tumour removed . This was before I was diagnosed with APS but i often wondered if there is any correlation between the two . Calcium normal since the op

I hope you are feeling better soon- that honestly sounds very uncomfortable.

You may consider asking to ask to be referred to an endocrinologist. ( this lies in the realm i of what Mary has mentioned to you.)
