Astrazeneca??

Is there any risk for HS people with having the Astrazeneca vaccination? I had first and only mild reaction and judge risk of not being vaccinated as greater given thrombosis associated with the virus itself.

I have had mine , they asked all the right questions beforehand and knew I had it but to be honest we’re on the anticoagulants so probably better covered than other people

As replied below, tested negative some years ago so not on medication.

I am sure you will be fine, and do keep up with your regular medication, as I myself am doing. MaryF

Thanks, I am sure you're right and I read the recommendations. I apparently no longer had the antiphospholipids at testing 7 yrs ago, but my sister also tested positive after my original diagnosis. She is taking 75mg aspirin, so I think I will too. Gave them up as asthma precaution.

If one is medicated for the vaccine ie aspirin or heparin does that give one more protection if we are not on any meds and have slight APS antibodies?
