Covid 19 risk factor or not?

Hi this is my first post but on here trying to work out what risk covid 19 is to me so I can work out if to offer my help on the front line. I had 6 pregnancy losses and one very prem birth 10 years ago so down as moderate risk. I get alot of issues with joints&muscle pain and raynauds type issues in my feet. Unsure if to offer services with as a single parent family or not. Its unclear and I wondered what others have found out?.

For me, I've stepped down from front line duty, but still busy doing welfare checks on telephone to isolated vulnerable people. Compromise for all.

Thanks for your reply. Do you have other risk factors?. I hope you dont mind me asking. I think they have said lupus is in the high risk category and this shares element s of lupus?. Hard to know what's best.

Lupus uk have got a really informative bulletin out, here, on twitter and on their website.

I have APS, Sjrogens, and Raynards, I don't feel I am at any more risk of getting the virus but like others really don't know how my body would cope getting through it.

The high risk Lupus cases are those that are on immunosppression drugs.

Sorry -no real data backed advice here. But given the data, it will be interesting to see what pre-existing conditions effect covid 19 reaction. Does autoimmunity increase resistance? Or do our high IgG numbers make our inflammation reaction so extreme that more lung cells die and so increases risk of death? Who knows? Me? I'm trying to stay careful, but not hyper-paranoid.

Thanks, yes that's the approach I'm taking. I'm guessing we dont know enough about this virus or our own immune response to it to know yet so its better to stay safe. Tbh I dont feel that the 2m apart is enough as droplets go further than that so it's better to just stay at home and wear a mask when out and gel or wash hands if possible. Taking other precautions too like wiping things as they come in and increasing vitamins and nutrients. Think that's basic level stuff in these times.
