Anyone know a specialist in the area of APLS

I have Hughes Syndrome and live in Qld. Does anyone know a specialist who knows about this condition. My haematologist reads up on it, my heart surgeon does the same.... nobody seems to have studied it? Does anyone know?

Sadly no I don't, but we do have a few from Australia on here, so hopefully they will reply soon.

I'm glad your haematologist and heart surgeon admit they are limited and read up.

Please have a look at our charity website, as there are specialists listed, plus also there is local knowledge on here as we have quite a few Australians, I am sure they will reply at some point. ghicworld.org/

Sorry I'm in NSW and as you know travel is extremely limited. I see Prof Fuller @ Nepean hospital (he is a Haem) so possibly your Haem could get in touch with him? He's pretty in touch with APS and I now only see him every 6 months unless I have problems then i can get in sooner. Do you have Rheumy who is across APS? Could be worth a try, Hope this helps a little. Happy for you to PM me if you need further info.
