LA might lead to thrombosis in COVID-19. Not really a surprise though
Anyway, they also mention that blood clots still occur with LA on anticoagulation with COVID. They recommend ‘full anticoagulation’ for people with LA who have COVID, but what INR is hat exactly?
I only have LA (not the two other markers), so usually my INR is 2-3. Just asking in case I do get COVID at some point. Better prepare (and prevent of course!).
Warm regards,

Just a small caution on this - it is not clear from the article if this is _prior_ LA +ve or LA +ve due to covid infection. I suspect the latter, which is already known as is association with the other +ve for the other two APS tests, or even triple positive.
I don't think there is anything out there yet on covid thrombosis risk for those who are already LA +ve before covid and already on anti-coagulation.
I too am LA +ve only, and currently on 2-3 INR. If I thought I had covid I think I might try and push my INR up a bit, particularly if it was nearer bottom of range, I'd normally just drink extra alcohol for that, but maybe not if ill. I suspect in hospital they would take you off warfarin and onto LMWH anyway (much easier to manage), at doses equivalent to INR 3-4 or higher, but that's just a guess.
I don't intend to be part of any research on covid and APS, best plan is not to get it, in my opinion.
The advice from our UK specialists is still the same, as the research is still coming in, if get symptoms of covid or test positive, stay hydrated, keep anticogeration same and contact your own specialist.
