I am a bit confused. Are you saying Beverley Hunt said keeping a high INR is too dangerous in her opinion?

Hi, I have not seen that report?

I think there is a lot of evidence showing sticky blood, micro clots but not seen any treatment plans yet. Probably have to weigh up bleeding with stopping clots?

Like us with APS, most patients have to have an individual plan?

I think it is a reference to this post: healthunlocked.com/hughes-s...

That was a statement about someone's own case, rather than a blanket statement that high INR is too dangerous.

Treating/preventing covid clots will need individual plans, complicated by possible LA +ve (cannot rely on PT time for bleeding risk), and we know d-dimer isn't reliable for all of us either (not seen that reported for covid yet, probably only a matter of time).

That is the way I read the article. I have posted the link now if you would like to take a look. I also attended Guys about 15 months ago, hadn't been there for years since I saw Prof Hughes but had a digestive problem my GP thought could be APS related so sent me back there. I hadn't been there for years and everything had changed since he left. For me, they wanted to take me off warfarin completely which goes against Prof Hughes and I refused to come off it. Their reason was I was more at risk of a bleed than a clot. I then had various messages after posting about it from other members who had bad experiences there and were worried they would stop their blood thinners. I was told that science and medical practice always updates and changes and that they no longer support Prof Hughs theories.

My Point was that it was now being referred to as Sticky blood and this had been the first time I saw it actually given that title although there has been a lot of clotting stories in the news and we all had wondered.
