HELP for individuals and families self isolating

Around my area, various groups have sprung up, to help people, these can be accessed by Facebook and if you don't use that many are getting a phone line together, or a mobile number. gov.uk/find-a-community-sup.... I have just rung all the local shops I use in my area to find out who will take payment over the phone and deliver, my green grocer will do this, and various other food shops, the smaller ones. Also all the pubs which are shutting and restaurants are intending to deliver meals. Those who are fit and well where I live are also running errands at the moment collecting prescriptions and things. Do have a look in your area on line and find out what is going on that may be able to help you, new groups are starting up everywhere daily. The Good Neighbour Scheme has started two groups in my locality in the last two weeks. MaryF

Yes, groups are getting set up, just like your area.

Also the Red Cross are planning to assist.

At a distance I have visited all the old people in my road to make sure they have all the details, who can pick up their scripts, also what to do as all our surgeries have banned paper repeat slips, only online, or phone or email. MaryF
