inr change with exercise
Hi, I see you have just joined, this forum is for people with Hughes/APS syndrome, have you been diagnosed with this?
We don't give medical advice, just share our experiences and support fellow sufferers.
When your clinic changed your dose of wararin, did you ask them if it could relate to exercise?
Well done in getting through your surgery and now exercising - must have been tuff.
no, sorry, I had just seen a post asking about inr changes with exercise. I was trying to to see why mine was changing. I will try to get out of group. My experience is with severe coronary artery disease and heart disease. Thanks
Hello...I have recently been on one of these weight loss programmes and have found my warfarin requirements have gone from 7.5mg to about 9.5mg...I would suggest it has something to do with the addatives and amino acids etc that is in the food...i supplement with green leafy veg and salad and this will also have an effect. I do self test and dose myself so feel I can react to small fluctuations. Once you come off your programme your requirements will reduce but you just need to be tested a little.more regularly. X
