Interesting article on why women have more autoimmune diseases than men - it has something to do with the skin perhaps.

The jury will still be out for a long time about this, probably multiple reasons, but definitely our hormones play a part, I know they do with me! sciencedaily.com/releases/2... MaryF

My mother and all of her sisters all developed rheumatoid arthritis after going through menopause. I also believe it could be stress related which again has an affect on hormones. It is very complicated but the more research the better especially for those of us who do not test positive.
