Mary F, thank you

I would just like to let you all know what a wonderful help Mary has been with the book launch evening. She really does put others ahead of herself as do all of us involved with GHIC.

The charity is all about raising awareness through educating patients, doctors and the general public.

It is about more than individual glory, it is about helping others and Mary has that quality in bucketloads. Charity is about leaving your ego at the door and putting yourself in others shoes for a moment. Mary does that every time she helps at these events for GHIC.

I hope everyone here appreciates what she does as I find her inspirational.

Well thank you very much and I will say at this point I am one of many, helping not only with the charity but with this forum, we have great administrators on here, who all do their bit around the clock running this and giving up their time freely, Lynn did loads to set up the website and get the project off the ground. It is a pleasure to do what we all do, I shall continue to be part of a team on here and also at the charity. MaryF

I agree with you. Mary is inspirational.

I have not enough words in English for what she stands for here. She has a big heart.

Well thank you, I did not expect this today! Or any day for that matter, but as said I am part of a great group of people on here and in other places, I could not do it without the support of so many lovely people. MaryF

It has been an incredible group effort. And to think, Kay, all along you yourself have been a part of the gang! Kerstin in Sweden has found your book so very helpful, and as the American saying goes, “if I had a dollar for every time she recommended your book...”

.... well ... I’d donate it to the charity, of course!

I know Lynn and Mary especially were invaluable in the early grueling start up of the charity. ❤️ I am forever grateful for your time and energy for all of us. ( and for our future grandchildren we’ve not even had!)

I’d be lost without these wonderful / tenacious women in my life- and I very much appreciate Mary’s efforts in this book launch.
