Thank you Mary, I hope you have a lovely bank holiday too!

Unfortunately I'm not able to get away but I still enjoy long weekends because I can switch off from calls to or from hospital and I won't have any hospital appointments either, bliss! 😄

I was able to visit my mother today, which was lovely because I've not been able to see her for several weeks 😀

Hope you are doing something nice this long weekend too!

You too Mary, hope there’s some music involved.

I have been recording a mixing a demo with my band on and off for the last few days, so yes plenty of music. Today before the next downpour, having completed half my exercise, I am off on a walk along my local estuary, the sort of walk where you walk in bursts and then repeat your steps, as my son has removable cast on his leg, as he broke his foot two weeks ago, so is trailing along at some speed I might add on his crutches. My man will have an estuary pub in mind for a pint. Then for me lots of cooking as I have a catering event coming up, so need to put some effort into my freezer, there in lies a boring tail involving de frosting! Later on we have various visits in Norfolk going on as we have a lot of friends who live near the beach up that way, nothing like a change of scenery. MaryF

Apart from your son’s leg that all sounds pretty good, especially the estuary pub.

Yes we are spoilt for choice around here with Estuary side pubs and things... MaryF

Enjoy! No bank holiday here in US, but I return home today after a long weekend visiting friends in Pennsylvania.

I hope you had a great time, I must do another trip to the USA some time! However I think my next long haul is Australia for a conference. MaryF

If a future US trip involves somewhere in the East, especially in the Appalachians let me know. I'd love to meet and chat.

Of course, if our family business takes us that way I will let you know. MaryF
