Hi this is an extension to my reply in your other post, this is also a symptom of poor thyroid function, alongside carpel tunnel in the wrists. I had both, which calmed down once I treated my thyroid. MaryF

Hi traceylou, I had the same about two years back. Not sure how common it is in APS. In my case my thyroid is fully tested and I have no thyroid problem. The plantar fasciitis sometimes tends to come back, but then I just use this exercise I found at some point (because the usual flexing exercises weren't working for me): youtube.com/watch?v=gXdlPuK... I experienced significant pain relief after doing this exercise after about ten days and in about three weeks it was all good again. Used to do it sitting on my bed, just before I would go to sleep. Good luck. Please also go to your GP with this (I have done this myself as well at that time) because if it takes too long for it to heal you can get more serious problems in your foot.

Hi, I really don't have a solution for you I just wanted you to know that I have been there. I had sever foot pain in the bottoms of my feet for two or three years, I still have sometimes but not daily anymore. It took me from being a bare foot kind bad of girl to a very cushy slipper kind of girl. I do miss being barefoot. I self treated with a home foot bath with massaging bubbles and very padded shoes. I also have had times that the pain in the bottom of my feet was horrible and would keep me up at night. With time most of it is better. It still hurts but not near as bad. I just wanted u to know that you are NOT alone. I'm sure many of us have felt your pain at some point.

Just do ur best to hang in there and get some memory foam shoes and slippers.

I have pain on the bottom of my feet right now. They have been paining for many years on and off. But now it is quite bad and on right side the heel is red and swollen. Soul rebel APS had good tips. Try to find proper shoes. In the middle of June I will be coming to London and should get my feet working that I could walk and see all the beautiful places there. :)

I am going to doctor on Monday.
