Hi all, can I ask if anyone who is taking medication e.g.. plaquenil ,tinzaparin ,has experienced skin discoloration when Waring jewellery. My SOS bracelet is turning my wrist green. It's gold plated and wasn't cheap. The lady in the jewellers said it might be because I'm taking these drugs. Thanks Elfie

Yes thanks for that I'll take it back . I havnt had it very long . I used to wear a medic alert bracelet (stainless steel) but it got a bit tight around my wrist,so I treated myself to a so called gold plated talisman and this is what happened .it also feels really rough .anyway thanks for your message I shall take it back today. I agree with above - even before I was on medication I couldnt wear anything but pure gold (Even allergic to silver). The gold sos I bought last time was ok, & came with several spare sos sheets, I did find it was not waterproof thought so I hang it from my car mirror, I have copies in my tel & purse case. My husband carries a copy in his wallet as well. I bought this from medical-bracelets.co.uk.

Thanks everyone for your replys. I have a horrible feeling that I've lost the receipt. I bet that was funny in Starbucks Apsnotfab .I hope you get yours sorted. I must say i find this Talisman bracelet easy to wear because it looks like jewellery and seems to be waterproof but as I say it's turned a copperycolour and feels really rough.well I'm about to go to town so I'll see what the have to say. Thanks again Elfie .Ps. will let you know the outcome

I shall watch this with interest as was thinking of doing bracelets for whole family... however I need the best service as they all move on and off to Uni! MaryF

Simple jewellery can give human skin a few problems. There is electrical and chemical proves in plating!. Our body also has electrical and chemical components and reaction takes place (Oxidisation!).

Please remove all your jewellery for a while and wash the area clean and take care of it.
