Can anyone help saw the doctor and she said my last blood test showed no antiphospholipiid antibodies but that I would still be on wafren because they can come and go but she would not need to see me anymore.

Hi. My reply to this is, by doctor do you mean specialist for your Hughes Syndrome/APS. If this is the case, I would explain you are happy to come and see them less frequently if they feel you are stable with your condition, (the blood tests regarding antibodies can come and go), suggest that you still require at least a yearly appointment and should be able to contact them should you become more ill. MaryF

Thank you I self test and I also have a filter fitted my bloods can be allover the place hence the self testin why do the anti bodies come and anyone know

Isn't it try that wen in warfarin, it masks the test results???

I also selftest every second day. It is important that you keep the therapeutic value otherwise the selftesting is useless.

What is your therapeutic value? Hope you have doubletested several times as the vein-value of the INR at the lab can differ from your home-value. I doublechequed the two INR-values for a long time to be sure that the DIFFERENCE was the same with a little discrepence of 0,1 - 0,4.
