Anti coagulation and anti platelets

Hello All, I wondered if anyone knew how taking a low dose aspirin along with warfrin might help INR?

I wonder if you could not have a remitant to Prof Gordan, suggested earlier from another member here. Mary also thought your husband should have an Expert on his illness. 

Does your husband has Lupus Anticoagulant-antibodies otherwise you should ask for a selftestiing-machine or try another anticoagulant-drug. Some people on here use Fragmin with a good outcome.

Aspirin is not an anticoagulation-drug but an antiplatelet-drug. Better to ask your Consultant. 

Before he makes any changes  try to be remitted to a Specialist which all of us need to get the right treatment.l

Aspirin has no effect on INR.

I took Aspirin with Warfarin but I'm now on Fragmin shots and Aspirin.

Hi please do not start on any new regime with drugs/medication until you have the right guidance in place from your main doctors.  However you may be already doing this under their expertise, and if so, it will not affect your INR.    MaryF

One thins the blood, the other alters the consistency of it, husband takes both as part of his treatment.. However only the warfarin affects the inr
